Feature Requests

It would be really good if there was a dictionary / reference for what different people called particular dance positions. ie. Common names for types of movement. eg. In 30s Partner Charleston - Shadow Charleston, Tandem, Corridor, Side by Side etc, Chase Entry to Tandem, eg. In Lindy Hop - Closed, Open, Closed offset, etc Swing out, Texas Tommy, Popturn etc eg. In Balboa - Balboa, Swing (if that's how others categorise it), and for movements - Comearound / Breakturn, Throwout, Pop turn, Apache And so on. Secpfically in relation to charleston, though, I've been looking for a reference list of position names, and I'm having some trouble tracking it down and I'm having trouble tracking one down. Thank you

When I want to play my playlists, I'd like to watch all videos without clic on start for each. We could have a new Icon above the cut icon. We'll have just to check it if we want videos start automatically

Any chance to invite new stars for Salsa like: Fernando Sosa or Adolfo Indacochea to join DanceLib?

Add Collegiate Shag and Saint Louis Shag on an equal basis with Lindy Hop and Balboa.

It'd be great to have vernaciluar jazz and solo Charleston as an addition as it complements most swingdances very well

In the pop-up to create a new playlist, you can see the playlists already created. But they are not in ascending order.

It would be nice to have toggle on/off button for the counts in the music showing 1 & 2 & 3& 4 &, etc... I find when slowing videos it can be harder to tell where in the music you are.

I like the idea of having an unorganised tagging system (references?) and a more organised tagging system for sections (tags?) But right now I find the tags to be too bloated and hard to understand. Can we have: * fewer tags * Clearer tags to make the overall organisation of videos easier. I'm quite experience with salsa terminology but even I am confused when see the amount of tags on offer. Still feel it's still too cluttered for an early product though. I shared some screenshot examples (For Cuban Dances). With the Partner work drop down it only has three options, so it's easy to see different ways of doing partner work at a high level. But then you look at the "Despelote" drop down and it has so many extraneous options (some of them are so specific they map to only one video!). An average dancer does not care whether they are rotating anti-clockwise vs clockwise for Despelote. And I don't know any user who will want to specifically find videos where the hands go up but not come down and vice versa (too specific) I would say test these tags with dancers of various levels and see how they navigate them. See what kind of things they are looking for (Beginners might search for fundamentals while Advance dancers might search for specific move variations). See whether the dancers get lost or overwhelmed by the options (I would assume most users will be overwhelmed by the options i've seen so far). Less is more. Hope this makes sense, overall still good work

Atm there is a slider to navigate the videos which is very unhelpful. As a dancer I'd like to analyse the videos frame by frame to see the moves and different angles. The slider is too big and clumsy to do that and the videos are slow to load. Buttons to skip a second (a frame?) forward and back would be a fantastic addition.
